Harmon Wanted to Go Home and Have His Man Love on Him

He had Poe tucked against his chest as he let his gaze move around the bar. With years of practice, he noticed the exchange of cash for baggies. Talent in the back lining up a trick for an hour or two. He wanted to go home and curl up with his man. Poe didn’t belong in a place like that. He didn’t belong with him at all.

Poe had given him everything he’d ever wanted in a lover. Gentle and passionate, showed him what it was like to be needed. He could still feel the way Poe had loved him. Kissed him at the end, then took him to the shower and washed him. The touches hadn’t stopped. Poe had held tight to his waist on the trip to Atlanta. Laced their fingers when they walked into the bar. Poe hadn’t left him since.

As was his habit, his brain tried to calculate how long he had with Poe. He lowered his head to nuzzle Poe’s cheek with his and caught movement at the door. The first thing he noticed was hot pink hair. Trevor hadn’t changed much since the last time he’d seen him. Ex-street kid. Married, but he wasn’t a fan of the kid’s husband. The older man put him on edge.

Fucking finally! He spun to put his back to the room and braced himself with one hand on the wall above Poe’s head. He might act like he was crazy and was able to pull it off well, but he was also damn good at his job. It was the one thing he’d always taken pride in.

“The cutie with the pink hair the one you’ve been waiting for?”

“How did you notice that?”

“You were rubbing up on my back before he walked in. I took a guess. Should I be jealous?”

He started to laugh until he noticed a hardness to Poe's gaze. Shit, his man was jealous.

“Now, Poe, why would I look at anyone else when I've got you?”

The cute blush on his man's face caused him to smile but the fact the man cared made him awestruck. His man was beautiful and smart, sexy and, fuck, the list could go on.

Trevor came up beside them and spun until his back was to the wall. “I hope I'm not interrupting.”

“Hi, Trevor, this is my man, Poe, Poe, meet Trevor.”

“Finally, someone got smart and snatched your ass up. Sexy man like you being single…tragic. So, what did I do to earn a visit from the Harmon Little himself?”

“I need some info, and you haven’t been off the streets long enough to be out of the loop.”

“Shame, you’re only after my mind.”

He snorted as Trevor winked at him and Poe’s hands fisted in his t-shirt. “You might want to knock down the flirting. I don’t think my man likes it.”

“Possessive, I can so understand that. Buy me food.”

Trevor pushed off the wall and retraced his steps. He took Poe’s hand and followed.
